We started filming
in October 2006 after realizing that we
were both looking to branch into another
field of work. After much research into
video cameras and editing packages, we took
the plunge; we bought all necessary equipment/
software and started filming.
What
a wonderful journey it has been; filming
someone’s special day and editing
it to produce a lifelong memory is so rewarding.
Our business has grown from strength to
strength.
We
use Sony HD FX1 cameras for filming and
edit our footage in Pinnacle software that
supports HD footage.
Our
policy is to film with 2 cameras, no less.
One camera angle is simply not adequate
for a wedding or event; there are so many
aspects at the event that can be left out.
Two cameras not only adds variety to the
edited DVD but also captures i.e. the groom
waiting for his bride while the other camera
captures the brides arrival, during speeches
one camera films the speaker while the other
films the reaction of the persons being
spoken about.
We
are very professional, relaxed, friendly
and unobtrusive. We make a conscious effort
to develop a good working relationship with
your chosen photographer so everything runs
smoothly on the day.
Every
wedding is unique and that’s how we
edit; taking into account each couples unique
style (i.e. classical, romantic, abstract)
and portraying it in their DVD. Couples
personal wedding colours & fonts are
used throughout the DVD and couples may
supply a selection of music for their DVD
